Tenerife North airport is located just 10 km from the capital (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) in the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
The majority of the airport’s traffic is comprised of regular domestic flights, 50% of which are connections with other islands in the archipelago: Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, El Hierro and La Gomera. It also connects with other airports in the rest of Spain through regular domestic flights. The main destination is Madrid-Barajas, which accounts for more than one million passengers, followed by Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao, Malaga and Valencia.
