Departures are divided between T1 (domestic and international flights) and T2 (inter-island flights).
The departures area in T1 is located on the first floor. There are a total of 42 assisted check-in counters and a counter for special luggage. The AENA Information Service, various shops, a pharmacy and a lottery ticket store are also located in this area.
Once their luggage has been checked in, passengers can enter the boarding area which has several open terraces and a glass lookout point. The boarding area also contains a broad range of shops, dining areas and the Guacimeta VIP lounge. Passengers board their flights through one of the 12 boarding gates operating in T1.
T2 has six check-in counters and four boarding gates (P1, P2, P3 and P4). The departure area also has a Binter Airlines sales counter, the AENA Information Service, a convenience store and a café.
